Received the raw experience of Samoa here. Last place, before Savai'i. You feel the variety of different crowds, catching the ferry. It was nice to feel the experience in the flesh. Nothing like it!

This motel is excellent. A slice of paradise where your room is on the beach. Breakfast and dinner are fresh and local produce. The rooms are clean and comfortable with air conditioning.

Unlimited swimming in the clear blue ocean on your doorstep too. We loved the snorkeling and seeing the fishes. We even saw a turtle. I’d highly recommend this accommodation.

We stayed at Tanu for 4 nights, after staying at Stevenson Manase. These are basic fales with matressess over looking beautful beach in Manase. The staff were very welcoming, Hanah and Sia were amazing right throughout our stay. The price you pay stay $80 tala adult $40 tala children under 12, under 5 stay free and breakfast and dinner is included, and the meals are amazing well worth it. Shared bathroom/toilet facilities always cleaned by staff.
Hanah and Sia are the best thank you so much to you and your staff for accomodating our family during our stay we will see you again next year.

Simple nice restaurant where you can find local food at a good price. It’s a bit weird that you have to order at the counter and pay everything you get before get it served. But overall we had a good experience.

Neil and the team are the bomb. Very easy to communicate with from Oz and then very accomodating when we got to the start point at Coconuts.
Neil has lots of local knowledge, showed us some great places to snorkel and we saw some magnificent turtles.
I’m coming back in August and will be going on tour with them again.

Beautiful and relaxing even when full. Rooms were serviced but somewhat inconsistently where one day they ran out of towels.
Definitely get a taxi from airport as it's much cheaper than resort shuttle if there's more than 2 of you.

Beach area is beautiful. Nice secluded white sands beach with an island you can walk over during low tide.

Limited breakfast selection but OK. It’s actually better ones in Samoa. Overall the hotel seems not fully ready. Some of the guest room buildings seem in the middle of tear down. The lounge chairs by the pool are moldy and cheap looking. Gym doesn’t have WiFi coverage and it’s far away to get to so can be a challenge to exercise when dark.

The front desk and concierge folks are not reliable. I booked a tour with 9AM pickup. Then I waited one hour at the lobby and front desk people kept telling me car was on its way. First it was supposed to be 930 then 945 then 10AM car showed up. However the tour operator showed me the email they sent to the hotel that they informed the hotel at 6AM the pickup time was revised to 10AM. So overall the front desk dropped the ball big time and tried to cover up with more lies with this 930 945 business that never existed.

Most places don’t have AC. Such as lobby and restaurants or bar. Overall it is not very luxurious but again it is not overpriced either. Just need to adjust expectations.

Hotel had an ATM which is great for you if you want to avoid the credit card surcharge.

My Family trip in Samoa and we speed the week here in Tanoa.

Our group stayed in two separate beach Fale’s over the past New Years Week. We had some initial dramas with our luggage not arriving on the plane, but the staff at Coconuts couldn’t have done more (particularly Sio) to help, even bringing clothes of their own for us to wear.

The location is very special.

The bar and restaurant are exceptional, the staff always friendly and happy to help.

Rooms were great, step onto the sand.

We were all rapt, look forward to making our way back again soon.

Food wasnt great
Bathroom wasnt cleaned properly on our check-in. Our fan in our room was broken. Staff service was amazing though. Taumeasina need to up their game with the money pple pay for their stay.
