Fili's Rentals

We just arrived home from our wonderful trip to Samoa. Fili's service was amazing! Car was super clean, and drove smooth. No issues at all. Price was lowest that I was quoted from all of the other companies too. I will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thanks Fili's!

Apologise in advance for the very detailed review. Car was booked for a week, 17 Dec 18 to 24 Dec 18. They were quick in contacting me for business. Deposit was made via money transfer after 24 hours of them returning my enquiry. Balance was paid once I arrived in Samoa, change of $6 and a few cents couldnt be made as they didnt have enough to give change - That was forgiven. Petrol was just below half way which we didnt mind. We had the Toyota Voxy for just 3 days when the transmission light started flashing. We took the vehicle back for inspection for that and also for the brakes being squeaky. We got given the all clear and was told that the car was road worthy.

Upon return of the vehicle, which was on time. We got told that the petrol needed to be above halfway and that the car needed to be cleaned which they say was in the contract. Which I missed.

Anyway, overall I would not reccommend this place. Everyone should feel safe when renting a vehicle and everyone should have peace of mind - with this company, you dont have any of that.

They also dont offer pick up or drop off service which is a put off.

Over-charged my credit card well after I had left Samoa, despite assurances all was good at time; dodgy dirty car with leaking bald tyres and iffy brakes; not punctual on either delivery nor pickup. AVOID; credit card scammer and deceptive business practices, appears legit at first but shifty as.

We arrived at 9pm to our car (Nissan X-Trail) waiting for us in the carpark. Paid remaining balance and she didn't have change which was no problem for us. Making conversation she apologized saying they had been there since 5pm drinking.

On our way home from airport we stopped off at a store, only to start up the car and the dashboard lights weren't on. Found out the next morning the fuse popped. They were quick to fix this problem which we appreciated. Glovebox wouldn't stay closed once we opened it.

Just a warning if you were to enter Fili's Rental premises, beware of the dog.

Overall Fetu was lovely to deal with but wouldn't recommend to get a rental from them.

Very fair prices! Probably the cheapest there is in Samoa depending on negotiations with the lady in the office. I was lucky to rent a 15 seater for 6 days at $180. They were also honest enough to have mention a few minor with the vehicle which i still insisted to take and was alright throughout the entire trip!

Worst Experience ever, different cars were given on the day of arrival, paid the remaining balance on that day. Was asked for a $500 bond, when they had my Credit Card details. Asked for my passport as the bond, gave it as if I was going to take off with the car. 2days later while picking my uncle up from the airport the same lady asked for another $235 for the rest of the car payment after signing documents full payment received. If there was a police officer at the airport that day I would of taken this matter further. Never go through this car rental the car I had had only 1 headlight working and the breaks were bad enough! I sent all my details regarding arrival and departure dates before arriving in Samoa to James. I arrived at the airport the day I was leaving and no one from the rental place was there. I had to call them and ask for my passport, and was told they didn't have my flight details. The lady that signed and took my payment begged me to pay the money or she would get fired! This is totally Bull-!

Great experience, exceptional customer service! We rented a small car for 1week at a very reasonable rate, it was very clean and ran great. The employees were helpful and very pleasant. Will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a rental car.
