Firstly, change your name from Funway to Worstway because there's nothing fun about dealing with you. What a nightmare that was.
Second, if I could rate 0 stars I would, 1 star is far too deserving.

We hired a car for 6 days. On day 3, unfortunately while the car was parked, a rock from someone mowing nearby flicked up and hit the rear windscreen causing it to shatter. We immediately contacted Funway and informed them of what happened. We were told to bring it in which was a 30 minute drive as no one would come out to fix it. So let's forget any kind of safety and drive with a broken windscreen. Wonderful When we arrived at Funway, my father was told to drive it to Hyundai and get it replaced and pay for it there to be fixed. When he arrived at Hyundai with one of the employees from Funway, they told him it wasn't going to be fixed that day. My father then had to catch a taxi back. Last time I checked, and with any other car rental company on the face of the earth you leave your car there and let them fix it and charge you with the credit card details you left on file. Not waste a whole day of your holiday because some employee decides its too difficult to do themselves and then get told it wasnt going to be fixed at all.
After the windscreen incident, he was given a replacement car.which broke down! A mechanic was sent out and looked at it and said he couldn't fix it and leave it where it was. ANOTHER car was offered but we had to make our own way in to get it. More taxi fees. We declined the offer as this was just becoming ridiculous.

All in all, this company is laughable at best, terrible customer service, completely unwilling to actually be helpful and they expect you to do the running around for them. From now on ill be using another hire group.

Hired a Toyota Voxy for hubby to drive our family around Upolu and Savaii. Had it for a total of 20 days, have to say the car worked really well, clean and air con was a life saver for us and 4 kids. Staff were good to deal with especially Feagaiga and when our flights back home were cancelled due to extreme weather, Funway came to the party and even dropped their price for us so we can continue to use their vehicle while we sort next available flights and insurances out. Would definitely go with them again next time we are in Samoa. Thank you Feagaiga and team keep up the good work.

Make sure that you picked out the right car. The boss was really good and always make sure you are served well and accordingly

Funway has been going strong since I first came to Samoa over 20 years ago. During this time they have fine tuned their quality service. The vehicles are in good condition, well-maintained and the hire charge is reasonable and on occasions, generous.

Funway can even issue a visitor drivers licence so you don’t have to queue up at the police station.

Importantly, as a visitor in a foreign land you need a friend. When I had a small accident with a taxi they made sure I wasn’t – excuse the pun – taken for a ride.

Funway are friendly, reputable and trustworthy and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone needing a car in the paradise of Samoa.

Fun way rentals awesome service emailed at 8.00am on a Sunday was picked up by the owner within 15min, my car was in great condition customer service was the best. Left with bananas & taro chips as well as car.

My first rental with funway rentals was in 2006 and since then this local business has improved immensely. There is a mixture of new and old cars so plenty of choices that will fit your preferences.

Rented a Rav 4, is was pretty old and clapped out. Almost everything was broken, had a screw sticking up from the centre console that kinda cut my are when we were driving. When crossing the middle of the island the car struggled like it was going to die. The transmission definitely needed some work and the shock absorbers died years ago. Car had 310,000km on the clock so to be expected I guess. At least the air conditioning worker. Car was Fairly priced maybe a touch on the high side but when I mentioned all the issues on return of the car they were very friendly and gave me a little bit of money back. Would recommend Funway just maybe check the vehicle before leaving the lot.

Service in this local rental wath better than in some global chains. No attempts to sell unnecessary options or bigger cars. Fleet is not the newest one, but they offered variety of dependable Toyotas. Prices may somewhat exceed your expectations, but overally, I'm pretty much satisfied.

We had a good experience with them and expanded the rental-period for several more days where we were allowed to keep the car until 2 p.m. The last day for extra 25 tala that last hour (our paid for delivery-time the last day was 1 p.m.) Instead they forced my helpless girlfriend to pay 75 tala and getting angry too. This is unprofessional.
