Beautiful and relaxing even when full. Rooms were serviced but somewhat inconsistently where one day they ran out of towels.
Definitely get a taxi from airport as it's much cheaper than resort shuttle if there's more than 2 of you.

Saletoga Sands Resort and Spa was a very nice place to stay. The facilities were good and the pool is really clean and clear. There also is a pool bar where you can have a drink.

We stayed in a hotel room which was a little bit of a walk to the main resort. The food was great, we went to the BBQ night which was really worth it and the food was delicious.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The Tv has no channels so you can go choose from the 100’s of DVDs in reception. We chose one but then it got stuck… the maintenance guy never came back so we never got to watch the movie.

The beach has bad snorkelling. Most of the coral is bleached and dead. Although there is some fish around.
The Spa is very good. The massage was really relaxing. The resort is a 10 minute drive to the To Sua Ocean Trench which I would recommend visiting.

RECOMMEND STAYING

I am at a loss for words to adequately express the sheer excellence of this resort and its exceptional staff. The facilities were flawless, and the staff members were truly outstanding. They were not only friendly and cheerful, but also incredibly accommodating and hospitable. I wholeheartedly endorse Saletonga as a must-visit destination. The resort's grounds were impeccably maintained, surpassing any I have ever seen. Destination "Samoa" - coin the phrase and invest your money here – not only to support the local economy, but more importantly, to reward the remarkable people who make this place so special. Until next time!

The rooms smelt, were dark and had mold on and around the aircon units, plumbingware leaked in our bathroom. Cleaning and hygiene was poor. 70% in our group of 20 guests got food poisoning at the resort. Couldn't get tuna or sashimi that was on advertised on the menu for the 7 days we were there and we had to taxi to other resorts for food availability and variety. Any food or drinks you could get at the resort was way overpriced $18 for small fries.

We had the most incredible stay here - beautiful views from our villa, excellent food and very welcoming and friendly staff. We didn’t want to leave, some very special memories were made.
Thanks Gav and Lou!

During our stay in this resort, something was smoking and burning in the backyard all the time, there was a terrible smell and it was difficult for us to be in the room at night. The air conditioners in the rooms work but they are very noisy, they are as noisy as a tractor. It was the same food for every breakfast and restaurant food was not tasty at all. The first time we were in this resort in 2018, it was amazing, everything was great. And so we stayed this year, we didn't like it and I will not recommend this resort to my friends anymore.

Family holiday, so clean and beautifully presented. The staff work hard to make this happen. Pool area was popular, free usage of kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling gear. Massage's were extremely popular and highly recommended.

Beautiful gardens surround this resort. There are plenty of deck chairs to relax all around the resort. My only criticisms are that the food is ordinary and many of the kayaks were damaged, only leaving very small ones for use. Therefore, there were no couples or larger person options. Fairly good snorkelling just out off the resort with coral and tropical fishes. I would go back and recommend this place. There is so much to see and do in Somoa too. We hired a car from the resort and did our tour.

Family group returning to Samoa for an important event. No better place to be than Saletoga Sands - Beach; Pool; Restaurants and Massages. Fantastic service and friendliness

We rarely write reviews, unless we have an extraordinary experience, either good or bad. Happily, we can say that this was one of the best short (1 week) holidays we have enjoyed in the South Pacific. Gavin runs a harmonious resort with staff who welcomed us like family and made us feel at home. Clean, comfortable, relaxing and fulfilled our needs completely. Great service, delicious food and warm greetings daily, we left knowing we would return in a heartbeat and go home planning our next visit. Faa'afetai!

It was our 2nd time to the Saletoga Sands, but this time we took our kids their partners and my mum, as before we had a awesome time, the rooms the service the food, nothing was a bother. The farewell song at the end of our trip made us all cry! We want to go back, my mum is Ready planning her next trip.

Great place for a relaxing holiday. Big cabins right on the shore, walk out the door and into the sea. Pool, bars and restaurants all within a short walk. Friendly staff and atmosphere.
Big thumbs up to the guy running the boat shed where you get the kayaks and masks and snorkels, really helpful and super friendly.
100% will visit again.

We had a great time there last week. Management and Staff are super. Food great. Do hire a car from them. We went snorkeling over the giant clams about 50min away by car. Breathtaking. We also did a walk to the Su'a Trench from the resort and this took 1 1/2 hours. Taxi is about $20 to get back.

The lagoon is really safe and if you get tired you can just stop and standup most of the time. (Lots of fish around the small rocky Island to the right). We never had any issue with getting hold of snorkeling gear at the resort but would recommend taking your own for trip to clams plus means you have instant access when required.

Were also did a nice walk along the beach up to the river, Again, a nice experience

We are already saving up to go back again next year and explore more of this wonderful island

The place was wonderful, immaculate and very relaxing. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Food was varied, fresh and delicious. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Nothing was a problem and tours were arranged. Can not wait to return, most relaxed I have been in years. Catered for three generations, 16yr old, 53 and 75 and we were all happy, relaxed and delighted with Saletoga Sands Resort

10/10 highly recommend. We recently stayed at Saletoga Sands Resort for our friends 30th birthday. The staff were so friendly and accomodating to our requests the day of her birthday. Resort is amazing, the rooms itself are nice and clean and are serviced daily. The food is great, we even went back for their Fiafia night after we had already checked out. Beautiful resort to relax and unwind, was nice being away from the city for a few days.

We had the best time of our life in this Resort! Everything is absolutely stunning. Beautiful rooms and villas. Super friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for a week as a treat after Covid and we have to say we would come back 1000 times.

White sand beaches, snorkeling paddling and kayak facilities are included during the stay. Spacious swimming pool with a bar in it! Happy hour everyday from 4 to 6 perfect to wait for the sunset.

One only complaint is WiFi is not free so make sure to get a sim card at the airport.

We were worried about the weather in November (because its the rainy season) but the rain came and went! It's simply beautiful.
100% recommended.

Saletoga Sands has a lot going for it; beautiful landscaping, fabulous pool with swim up bar, on-site car rental for the occasional day trip, plus day tours you can book on, a decent beach and lagoon (though lagoon has a bit of a current, stay by the slides if you don’t have fins/ are with kids) and very lovely and kind staff.

Some of the staff are quite new as they have just hired a lot of people for reopening and they occasionally seemed overwhelmed, but even then they had the best intentions.

The massages at the spa were amazing; would go back in a heartbeat if they were in our city.

Our deluxe family villa was as expected (sometimes not the case) and had a great veranda to hang on.

The only work-on/reason we aren’t giving 5-stars is that the food and beverage offerings could be improved on. Food was fine to decent, but it could have been a lot more interesting. Meal times became a chore. Picture traditional Kiwi pub fair. Fine but dull. The BBQ and Show nights were great. Unfortunately the cocktails were uniformly terrible. Perhaps that’s a good thing as the beer is a lot cheaper.

Definitely recommend staying here.
